today is the day...
that we start a new chapter in our lives that wasn't part of the script
that we get our new daughter for the next 11 months
that our lives will never be the same
that we will start gaining an appreciation for the world
that her life will never be the same
that there will be times that we are completely frazzled and frustrated - and that she will be too
that we hope that the decisions that we have made up to this point will provide for an amazing journey for everyone involved
......
in less that 9 hours, we will be welcoming in Chiara into our house for the next 11 months - and the feelings that are running through the house are all over the place - excitement, nervousness, anxiety & fear.
plain and simple - all these are to be expected.
i, for one, can't wait!
